Types of Cancer

The tissues and organs of the body are made up of very tiny building blocks called cells. These Cells multiply and divide as the body needs them. Cells in different parts of the body may look and work differently and some of these become old and dying and reproduce themselves in the same way. Similarly, Cancer is a disease of these cells. In other words, Cancer is a disease in which abnormal cells divide without control and can invade to other tissues and parts of the body through lymph system and blood circulation etc. There are several types of cancer such as:




Lung Cancer: It is one of the most common types of cancer in the world. It cause due the High levels of pollution, Cigarette smoking, asbestos fibers and radiation etc. Lung cancer is broadly classified into two types such as small cell lung cancers (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC).




Brain tumor: It is a clump or group of abnormally growing cells that can be found in or on the brain. It can occur at any age. Studies have shown that. Workers who are working in certain industries such as rubber manufacturing, oil refining and drug manufacturing are at a higher risk for brain cancer than others. Since it often occurs with members of the same family, heredity is believed to be another cause of this brain cancer.




Skin Cancer: It is the most common form of cancer in the US. Usually form on the face, head, neck, arms and hands etc. There are several types of skin cancers like cell cancer, squamous cell cancer and melanoma which is more dangerous but less common etc. It represents the most commonly surpassing lung, diagnosed malignancy, breast, prostate and colerectal cancer.




Breast Cancer: It has been noted in a survey in America that near around 41,000 women died and 2 million women are suffering from breast cancer disease. The signs of breast cancer are signs of breast cancer.

Lump which is usually single, firm and most often painless is detected.

Veins on the skin surface become more prominent on one breast etc
